Rinascita Wine Bottle

This study focuses on creating a product that replaces non-renewable resources with renewable biomaterials. BoungJin Ty Ko began conducting research into the process of making wine, which produces high amounts of waste, including grape pomace, organic acids, yeasts, etc. Ko redesigned the wine bottle so that it utilizes the grape pomace waste. To reduce any contact between this enclosure and the wine, the interior was lined with a recyclable polymer interior that can be removed. Further investigation into the neck and cork cap would be needed to advance the proposition.
